All right, it's time to reveal my crations of the bead soup, which Melissa sent me! Thank you once more, Melissa, for such a lovely soup!
Nyt siis esille korut, jotka syntyivät tähän jännittävään helmivaihtoon! Tähän mennessä syntyneet kaulakorut, muuta luvassa myöhemmin. Kaikki palaset ovat menossa koruihin.
Laitan koko muun suomenkielisen tekstin tuonne alas!
So far, I made two necklaces, and, the other pieces will come later, everything will have it's place in my jewelry.
I'm such an owl fan that the toggle from Green Girls studio was the first thing I wanted to get
to use. It seems to me, that I'm not so much into bright colours just now! This necklace is very harmonious but playful at the same time.
The hematite beads are from Melissa, too, I added snow flake obsidian and a small bit of lovely leaf-chain, one nugget of turquoise and I made one of my little 'butterflies' to hang there, too.
On the partial photo you see, how I made a little adjustment to the toggle, in comparison with the photo below, another hole in it and a bit of chain - to keep it just right on the neck ;-)
On the other necklace there is this gorgeous focal and two co-ordinating beads from Humblebeads (I always wanted to have some!!). I added some huge shell pearls in perfectly matching colours (oh yes, I sent the same pearls to my partner ;-D), some pyrite and onyx beads and the small green garnet beads, too.
The 'berry-lumps' are made of some very old buttons I found on a flea-market.
I think that these both are keepers, they are so my favourite colours and pieces!
Many thanks to wonderful Lori Anderson for organizing this Party once again! Find all the other participants of this time -here-

ReplyDeleteLove these colours! You made so pretty jewelry! Kisses from Hungary
ReplyDeleteBeautiful new pieces, Mags! Love your style and beautiful material combinations! Great job!
ReplyDeleteAivan mahtavia molemmat, alemmassa taas niin paljon katseltavaa, ihania nyö ryppäät, onko ne niitä nappeja?
ReplyDeleteTykkään!!!!!
ReplyDeleteKatsoin ensin että pöllö on riipus, aivan ihana lukko! Paras mahdollinen paikka "höntiäiselle", kauniin pelkistetty koru!
Hauska idea koota "rypäletertuiksi" nuo napit.
Oh my, Mags! Your pieces are wonderful! I love the fun bumps! You really make these necklaces special! Love them!
ReplyDeleteKomppaan edellisiä. "Sairaan ihania" molemmat! Ajattelin himoiten jo noita värkkejä katsellessani, että lempparikoruja on tulossa. No, ylitit taas kaikki odotukseni. :D
ReplyDeleteTosi hienoja koruja molemmat! Pöllölukko on upea :)

ReplyDeleteOlipas kivoja molemmat. Upeista tarvikkeista niin hienoja kokonaisuuksia.
ReplyDeleteI am SO sorry for being late -- today our internet provider decided to crash. My stress level is through the roof, to say the least! They're still working on it, but it's like dial-up.
ReplyDeleteThat first piece is my absolute favorite, with the one piece of gemstone, then the fringy chain -- love that asymmetry. You did such a good job on both!
I hope you participate again!
Love, Lori
Todella ihania, kauniita sävyjä. Upeista helmistä saa upeita koruja. Tuo alemman korun sävyt sulattaa sydämeni :D Napit ja lukko sivussa, riipus on niin samettisen ihana.
ReplyDeleteLove what you did with everything!
ReplyDeleteYour Bead Soup pieces are just beautiful.

Oi, miten ihanaiset korut :) <3
ReplyDeleteMolemmat korut taas taattua Magsia. Pöllölukko on upea ja turkoosi helmi nappivalinta vierelle. Toisen korun värit, sekä muotokieli, ovat kerrassaan mainiot!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteYou got two focals and two great necklaces. Love the way you adjusted the owl toggle to make it a focal too! Great pieces, love the berry bumps!
ReplyDeleteUpeita koruja molemmat. Pöllökorua käyttäisin itse mieluummin. Jännittävä odottaa vielä mitä lopuista helmistä valmistuu.
ReplyDeleteOnko korukopla järjestänyt vielä samanmoista helmivaihtoa?
Kiitos messulipusta. Tänään jo tein rannekorun messujen tuliaisista.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful! The one with the owl toggle is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your kind words on my blog about my creations with the soup. Your designs with your soup is beautiful, and looks like just in time for fall.
ReplyDeleteKivoja koruja teit! Taas löytyy ripaus vintage-henkeä ja ripaus luontoa. Nuo rypäleet ovat ihan justiinsa kuin karhunvatukat, joita poimin puutarhassamme eilen. :-)
ReplyDeleteThey are both lovely! I love how you've used the owl toggle.
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderfully rich pieces! The first is so fun and funky and the second so elegant! Beautiful work!

I love them! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLoving the color pallet..makes for an elegant yet earthy necklace. Soup-er job!
ReplyDeleteBoth are beautiful! I love the owl clasp in front.
ReplyDeleteI really love your style. Smooth, flowing colors, and visual interest with the leaf chain and the "berry bumps". Love that description! They truly do look like big juicy blackberries. The snowflake obsidian was a perfect touch. Great job!
ReplyDeleteLovin' that second necklace!
ReplyDeletethese are just SO beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteVery nice!! I love what you did with the owl.
ReplyDeleteYour pieces are just lovely. My favorite is the second one the colors are amazing and I love the way you used the buttons that looks perfect with your design.
ReplyDeleteGREAT WORK!
Gorgeous necklaces in lovely colours! I especially fell for a detail in the first one: the leaf chain goes so well together with the owl, like it's in the forest, sitting in a tree with the wind rattling the leaves. Fab job!
ReplyDeleteBoth of those are really great! I would wear them both. However, I am a bit more partial to the owl one because of its neutral tone. Fabulous work!
ReplyDeleteLovely!
ReplyDeleteBoth are beautiful. Love how you added a dangle to the clasp to make it sit just so...I like the leaves. That owl clasp is so great. Also love that gorgeous big bead to the left.. a.beautiful pop of colour.
ReplyDeletejenni
I loved all of your creations but the owl is my favorite. I love what you did by connecting the leaf chain to the toggle.
ReplyDeleteYour berry-lumps are very kewl!
Great colours!
